GREENGUARD GOLD CERTIFIED
Sunbrella upholstery fabric has achieved Greenguard Gold Certification for contributing to healthy indoor air as a product with low chemical and particle emissions.
SKIN PROTECTION
The Skin Cancer Foundation recommends Sunbrella fabrics in shading products as an aid in the prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin as part of a complete sun protection regimen, including regular use of sunscreen.
ZERO LANDFILL
Through careful materials selection in all processes and extensive recycling programs, nothing from any Sunbrella manufacturing facility worldwide is sent a landfill.
SOLAR POWER
In 2011, we installed solar arrays for Sunbrella manufacturing facilities that generated enough energy to power 47 homes and, combined with an upgrade of all light fixtures, reduced annual CO2 emissions by 1,000 tons. In 2016, the solar capacity across facilities was tripled with a total capacity of more than 1,500 kilowatts.
RECYCLE SUBRELLA
Help us remain sustainable. Sunbrella provides a unique way for you to recycle Sunbrella fabrics through a revolutionary take-back program, “Recycle My Sunbrella”.
LESS WATER
Because Sunbrella fabrics last much longer than traditional fabrics, they ultimately create less waste than fabrics that need to be replaced more often due to fading or loss of strength.
WASTEWATER REDUCTION
Our unique coloring process makes Sunbrella fabrics fade-resistant and conserves more water than conventional dyeing processes.
